For Beginners:
Traveler (Anemo)
Yes, and this may surprise you, but at the start play with Traveler! There aren’t that many other good starters, so if you want to make the most out of gameplay, Traveler is your best bet.
You can also visit Genshin Impact full tier list and best characters to start the game with (republicworld.com) and you can seethe full tier list, from S all the way to C.
On the full tier list, Traveler (Anemo) is actually on the A tier for support.
For beating bosses, Barbara is OP. Dealing tons of damage and having the ability to heal herself. But the BEST characters right now are Diluc for DPS, Fishcl for support, Qiqi as healer and Venti for support.
